VERY Beautiful new never used antique hand knotted 6.5 X 10 Iranian Persian Tabriz FISH EYE FLORAL Area Carpet.

You need to see more pics of this beautiful carpet.  I bought in United Arab Emirates back in 1983; been stored in a cool no humidity environment it's entire life.

Knot count is average of 420 knots per square inch.  100% fine wool with "REAL" natural white silk inlay throughout.  This carpet is hand knotted by skillful family members in Tabriz, Iran.  This carpet normally takes about two years to finish. I bought this carpet in 1990 while deployed.  The carpet is approximately 45-50 years old.    This carpet was appraised at $4500.00.     The Mahi design is common for Tabriz style Persian rugs and is used in association with the Herati motif. The Mahi design is a fisheye representation inside the Persian rug's field, Mahi being the Persian word for fish. The Herati motif has various representations; two are used on this carpet. One of them is used for the Persian rug's field and the other one for the borders. The colors used are strong and naturally applied by using vegetable and other natural dyes. The field background is Black with Rose accents, Light Greens, Light Browns, and REAL White Silk Inlay throughout the carpet design while the borders are Rose, Ivory, and Black; a feature that lightens the overall image of the Persian silk rug.  You must see this carpet in person to appreciate the beauty.  Discounted heavily for fast sale.  Email for more pics.  Thank you
