I would like to buy a .22 caliber rimfire rifle to give as a gift to a couple young brothers who would find it useful around the farm to hunt and control vermin. A bolt action or semi auto that is in safe operating condition and affordable would fit the bill. I don't need anything fancy or overpriced because it will be a tool that will let the boys enjoy the outdoors like I did when I was a youngster.
