Quality Health Strategies is seeking a dynamic, highly collaborative team player to join our software development practice. Qualified candidates will possess excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to work across the business units and other technologists in our organization to develop ideas into solutions.
Specifically, the Senior Software Developer will create and enhance sophisticated web-based software solutions for clients in the QHS family; create mobile applications and superior user interfaces to differentiate QHS from its peers in the marketplace. The Senior Software developer will lead small teams in an agile development process and oversee planning, development, testing and maintenance according to a Product Plan and roadmap. As such, this individual will work closely with Product Owners in the organization to provide creative input to the plan and roadmap to keep the products competitive and differentiated. This senior level position relies on extensive experience, judgement, and a knowledge of the technology solutions in the marketplace to plan and perform a variety of responsibilities, including the implementation of new technologies.

Advanced hands on experience working in integrated development environments, including Visual Studio.
Mobile development (Xamarin preferred).
Object oriented, rapid prototyping software development methodologies.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and at least 6 years experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working in a collaborative, team environment using agile SCRUM methodologies.
Leading a small team in the development and enhancement of software products.
Healthcare industry experience a plus.
Consults with clients to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.
Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
Writes and maintains technical specifications.
Analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware
