ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, Community Living (AD)
For Calvert and Charles County area
The AD reports directly to Director of Community Supports and will oversee the operations of all assigned community living services. The AD oversees the operations of all assigned community living services. The AD improves services and assures measured outcomes throughout the assigned services. The AD assures that staff meet all measures of the agency’s quality improvement plan. The AD follows and implements written procedures and systems relating to guidelines, practices, procedures, and policies of The Arc assuring that staff apply them consistently in all assigned services and with consistency to other Directors. The AD has the ability to accept emergency phone calls and respond to emergencies 24/7.
Requirements: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience or a combinations of education and experience equivalent to this requirement, Microsoft Office experience. Supervisory experience; knowledge & understanding of IPs, crisis management & behavior change principles.
Other requirements are clean criminal background, valid driver’s license with good driving record and access to a safe vehicle for transporting people receiving services.
