We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.
We are currently seeking a . Position requires an individual with significant acquisition process understanding and the ability to provide analysis and evaluation to management on the effectiveness and efficiency of production efforts. Required work for this position will incorporate aspects of the following list below:
-Understanding and writing of SOWs and CDRL development.
-Analyzing and evaluating (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of line program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
-Advising on the potential benefits/uses of automation to improve the efficiency of administrative support of program operations.
-Provide analysis/recommendations to aid the Production IPT in should cost initiatives.
-Lead manager for the Should Cost; provides research, development and cost analysis (cost savings and cost avoidance.) Updates documentation, staying current with Should Cost processes and incorporates new information within the SC Plan and Training documentation.
-Run Should Cost Review Board (SCRB) quarterly and ensure inputs are collected, develop briefing material, agenda and meeting minutes.
-Evaluating and advising on the organization, methods, and procedures for providing administrative support systems such as records, communications, directives, forms, files, and documentation;
-CDRL delivery tracking
-With-hold Tag processing support and tracking; establishing a database repository.
-Perform a wide range of tasks and applies a variety of techniques and methods to address comprehensive problems associated with complex systems and procurement issues to provide the IPT viable recommendation prerequisite for sound decision-making.
- Must be self-motivated, able to interface with multiple types of people and juggle multiple projects at once and meet timelines, etc.
: BS or BA degree. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
At least six (6) years’ experience in large and complex problems associated with major weapons systems. Demonstrate experience in cost/benefit analysis, quality control, successful completion of critical path events and project tracking. Familiarity with SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD forms related to PPBS and Contract Data Requirements List is required. Experience with Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests, Work requests, Requisitions, and DD 254s are desired.
