The selected candidate will analyze complex business or programmatic problems for resolution using systematic methodologies. Analysis and resolutions may have been applied in a number of broad functional areas, including but not limited to, program management, software engineering and network security.
B.A. or B.S. Degree from an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education approved agency. In lieu of a degree, four additional years of relevant experience can be substituted. A graduate degree may be substituted for two years’ experience.
Applicant must have four years of relevant experience, which includes direct NAVAIR PMA support experience in work efforts requiring the delivery of management, organizational or business improvement services. Excellent communications skills (written and oral) for interfacing with a wide range of personnel and audiences from co-workers to PMA and Fleet staff; MS Office proficiency; and motivated, self-starter that can tackle complex issues with little guidance and oversight.
Experience in E-6B TACAMO program office or operational environment is desired. The ability to apply knowledge of computer science concepts and techniques, mathematics, and methods of statistical analysis to develop and apply automated solutions to engineering, scientific, or business data acquisition and management problems.
Certification in the following tools is desired: JAVA programming; C/C++ programming; UNIX/Linux and/or Windows operating system environments.
At least two years of in-depth E-6B software experience working with software engineers and developers to write, design, develop, modify, and testing computer programs in JAVA, C/C++, .NET, or similar third- generation programming languages is desired.
The successful candidate shall design, implement and test multi-tiered, multi-level security networked applications with several communications devices and protocols. Development will include integrating diagnostics for Command Management LAN components, integrated network status and bandwidth utilization tools.
Security+ certification to be obtained within six months of hire.
Candidate must have active Secret Clearance. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Up to 10% travel to Government and Contractor sited in CONUS is required.
