National Technologies Associates is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst for a position located at our office in California, MD.
ASSIGNED TASKING: Provide Integrated Logistics Support to the H-60 Multi-Mission Helicopter Program, PMA-299 Propulsion and Power Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics. Provide maintenance analyses, evaluation and sustainment support to T700 engine. Assist with conducting and reviewing Level of Repair Analyses (LORA), including all proposed configuration changes; recommend any necessary changes to maintenance concepts in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning documents such as Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Logistics Supportability Analysis (LSA) Plans and Interim Support Plans (ISPs), transition or Sundown plans. Collect Diagnostics, Prognostics and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+), Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Built-in and manual testability management, and required repair times data to perform maintenance analysis including required repair times determination. Assist T700 DAPML to review/update established maintenance requirements in the approved Maintenance Plan(s). Identify cost-saving alternatives to existing maintenance and recommend processes to ensure maintenance planning data is updated to reflect impacts from approved Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). Review and analyze maintenance concepts for: (1) accurate level of repair documentation; (2) reliability performance/readiness degradation; (3) on-aircraft/off-aircraft maintenance task evolution; (4) utilization of innovative maintenance practices; and (5) impacts of proposed engineering changes. Identify and assess potential logistics related risks impacting the mission systems and propose mitigation approaches that will sustain the operational mission requirements of the mission systems. Perform analysis of LCSP planning/management data and documentation to identify supportability problem areas, and recommend approaches to evaluate the impact of LCSP shortfalls. Recommend approaches to mitigate identified T700 support risks. Participate in engineering investigations and the review of Fleet deficiency reporting to assess maintenance impacts to the T700 and recommend approaches to mitigate these risks.

- Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus six years of out of the last ten years experience must be in applying analysis techniques and evaluation procedures. Experience to include: Experience or education independently evaluating support system effectiveness, reliability and maintainability, and logistics support for DoD weapon systems/equipment, and a minimum of two years experience in at least two of the following; Logistics Support Analysis, Reliability and Maintainability Analysis, Operational Availability Analysis, Life Cycle Costing, Configuration Management.
- Allowable substitutions:
- Eight years of additional logistics analysis experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- Master’s degree(s) may be substituted for a maximum of two years of logistics analysis experience.
3. Knowledge of the following highly desirable:
DESIRABLE SKILLS/ABILITIES: Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, and Project; detailed oriented; well-developed written and oral communication skills; ability to read, write and review technical documents, reports and drawings; ability to track and report status of assigned tasking, ability to assess established business processes, identify/document business process problems and recommend business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to develop and maintain a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the ILS tasking listed above.
