Service Advisor Position

In search of front counter help for a busy automotive mechanic shop. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance & repairs required.

Individual is expected to be professional, have a positive attitude, be reliable and successfully follow written and verbal directions.

Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and effectively communicate with management, co-workers, vendors and the general public.

Will consider any combination of training, education, and work experience

 

Service Advisor responsibilities

Greet customers / Determine type of service required

Consult with mechanics about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive work

Provide customers with in-depth information regarding vehicle repairs, parts, or estimates.

Answer questions about service (after consulting with mechanic if necessary)

Manage and oversee the service center’s workflow and scheduling

Call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up

Prepare Service Orders / Order Parts from various vendors using PO system / Create Vehicle Repair Estimates / Etc.
