IFF Aircraft Integration Engineer (NHR-87)
We have immediate aircraft integration engineering openings supporting a U.S. Navy program at NAS Patuxent River.
Responsibilities: Engineering support for aircraft avionics integration of Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems on USN/USMC aircraft. Engineering analysis, technical documentation development and review, programmatic support and systems engineering interaction with various disciplines. Some travel is required.
Qualifications: A BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred, but other engineering disciplines will be considered. IFF and aircraft integration experience is required, however relevant experience with other Radio Frequency (RF) systems will be considered. Experience with USN/USMC aircraft considered a plus. Knowledge and experience with laboratory and on-aircraft performance and integration testing of IFF systems and related avionics desired. Experience with MIL-STD-1553 and/or ARINC 429 is desired. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
