LOGISTICS ANALYST: Provides support to FMS Logistics Manager. Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs for FMS programs. Performs life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility. Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems. Utilizes WebRoR for FMS repair tracking database; identifies and employs a series of validations. Assist swith FMS acquisition preparation and planning documentation based on foreign customer's requirements of operational scenarios. Prepares management and technical documentation that supports FMS requirement development and technology transfer.
Education: BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Experience: At least six (6) years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance engineering, or Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) plus three (3) years of experience in acquisition logistics/maintenance engineering. Three (3) years of experience in technical analysis of operational ILS requirements. Three (3) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning. Experience or education demonstrating ability to perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems/equipment. Experience with WebROR and OneTouch desired.
