Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
On site Government space.  Provides technical analysis of H53 Maintenance and Functional Check Flight requirements to include studies, analysis and evaluations in support of H53 and associated support equipment. Analyze maintenance databases, such as Integrated Product Support Management Systems (IPSMS), VECTOR, Resource Allocation Management Program (RAMP) and Decision Knowledge Programing for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (DECKPLATE) to provide assessments of maintenance schedules, aircraft availability, and level of impact for incorporation of ECPs on operational readiness.  Assist in identifying opportunities to improve maintenance processes and subsequently reduce operational and support costs. Assist in implementing maintenance technologies (e.g., condition monitoring, diagnostics, and prognostics), best practices, RCM-based processes, enablers such as asset visibility, component tracking and forecasting methods. Support the Government in enhancing materiel availability and life cycle H53 readiness by assisting in the identification of equipment failures during mission periods and identification of the best time to perform required maintenance. Support the Government in the optimization of life cycle logistics processes and minimize mean downtime by assisting in the provision of timely condition information, precise failure mode identification, and identification of H53 logistics shortfalls that are impacting operational availability. Provide assistance to the Government to maintain comprehensive H-53 In-Service Integrated Improvement Programs and other Cost-Wise Readiness efforts for weapon systems, training equipment, subsystems and/or support systems including Should Cost vs. Will Cost. Follow Command developed templates, provided by the Government and contain operations cost reduction targets; define initiatives to achieve those targets, identify metrics used to measure program progress, while identifying barriers and impediments to reach program goals.

Education: BS or BA degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, or Business Administration.

Experience: At least six (6) years in Acquisition Logistics Support/Maintenance Engineering, and at least four (4) years’ experience in operations or maintenance of systems in the field. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Designation as a Certified Professional Logistician from the International Society of Logistics (SOLE) or APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional, plus three (3) years of recent experience in Acquisition Logistics can be substituted for four (4) years’ experience in operations or maintenance of systems in the field.
