Description: Provide support to Senior Logistics Management and Program Office APML or Deputies and LEMs across the full spectrum of ILS elements. Support SMEs for respective organizations, including IMRL, SE, P&P and Tech Data. Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and maintainability programs and information systems. Work with logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, ILS and R&M program management analysis. Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.
Develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

Responsibilities and Skills: Support Data Analytics tasking to collect, process, analyze, and communicate results and recommendations related to data. Skills need to include: supporting analytics and the ability to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, numbers and formulas; ability to analyze the data and find conclusions; communication Skills and ability to present findings or translate data into an understandable document; ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas; provide critical thinking and ability to analyze and quantify trends and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings; demonstrate mathematical skills to perform statistical and trend analysis. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL server, Excel, Tableau and other visualization tools as well as Python and R programming.

Education and Experience: BS or BA degree ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree. Experience: At least six (6) years of experience in operational logistics support and maintenance engineering or Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) plus three (3) years of recent experience in acquisition logistics and maintenance engineering. Of the six (6) years, three (3) years’ experience in technical analysis of operational ILS requirements and three (3) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning is required. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An MS or MA degree may be substituted for two (2) years of operations logistics experience.
