We promote the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of the individual, especially the marginalized and vulnerable, through the shared exploration of pathways to healthy living.
We currently seek applicants for a fulltime position to support adolescent/young adults who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness and who are either living in our program-operated housing or are living independently in the community. The selected candidate will serve as a consumer advocate and the facilitator of an independent living skills curriculum in addition to consumer file maintenance, entitlement management and coordination of the medication monitoring process. There will also be marketing duties assigned as needed.
The following shifts are available:
Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Part -Time: (every other)Saturday & Sunday, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Part - Time: (every other)Saturday & Sunday, 10am - 8pm
Part - Time: Friday & Saturday, 5pm - 1am
Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma and two years experience in Human Services field, with at least one year in a mental health setting. Bachelor’s degree in the Human Service or related field with one year of experience working with youth is preferred. Experience may be substituted for educational requirements on a year for year basis. Applicants must also possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record that is deemed insurable by the organization’s automobile liability insurance carrier. Spanish speaking ability is highly desirable.
Preferred applicants will have appropriate education beyond high school and at least two years of prior experience working with adolescents and young adults who have mental and emotional impairments.
