Large organization located in Piney Point, MD has a full time Safety Instructor position open. Duties for this position include adhering to the policies & procedures of the School QSS; teaching assigned courses in accordance with approved curriculum; subject matter expert for course development; maintaining the condition of training aids to support curriculum; participating in professional development activities developed by the School. The minimum requirements for this position are: Firefighter II Certification, Emergency Medical Technician, Fire Instructor I certification, First Aid, CPR/AED Instructor Certification; Working knowledge of Firefighting, First Aid, Emergency Medical Care, Hazardous Materials, Confined Space & General Safety Programs; be able to obtain Instructor Approval from the US Coast Guard; Annual Physical; Annual Respirator Fit Test and Train the Trainer Certification (we will provide).  The candidate must work effectively with students of various educational levels, job titles, ages and ethnicities.  Other duties as assigned.
