Primary Responsibilities:

The Marketing Specialist performs marketing, public relations, and general office administration duties. The Marketing Specialist implements marketing strategies and efforts and builds relationships internally between the marketing department and other key departments as well as externally with vendors and organizations. Responsible for coordinating and assisting with marketing activities including advertising, special events, preparation and distribution of marketing materials and promotional items, acting as a liaison to design and print firms, producing marketing reports and other duties.

Qualification Requirements: Qualified candidate must possess the following:

  • Associate’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Comparable work-related experience may be acceptable, depending upon experience and degree status
  • Experience with software applications including Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook calendar and scheduling
  • Experience and knowledge of the various social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube, including content development/planning
  • InDesign, Premiere and Emma Email Platform knowledge is preferred but not required
  • Comfort level in building rapport with fellow team members, customers, senior management, and vendors
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills, as well as a high degree of flexibility, independence, creative thinking, and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to function well in a multiple project, deadline-oriented environment while ensuring a high level of accuracy and detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups of people through good verbal and written communications
  • Experience in proofreading/editing marketing materials; reviewing content for grammatical errors, accuracy, and consistency of the Bank’s brand
  • Ability to approach assignments and areas of responsibility in a proactive, self-directed, enthusiastic manner, seek to add value, show initiative, and grow personal contributions while developing marketing skills
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and a team player who can collaborate with the marketing team and contribute in a highly productive manner in a deadline-driven environment
