We promote the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of persons served, especially the marginalized and vulnerable, through shared exploration of pathways to healthy living.

We currently seek applicants for a full-time opportunity available in our Community Support Program working in Charles County. Office location is in Waldorf, Maryland. The selected candidate will provide support to adults with a mental illness who are living on their own in the Southern Maryland area. Responsibilities will include visiting individuals in their home, or another chosen place in the community, providing assistance with daily living skills, consumer advocacy, entitlement management, and transportation when needed. Based on these visits, the selected individual will help to track consumer’s progression toward their individual rehabilitative goals.

The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM.

Preferred applicants will have appropriate education beyond high school and prior experience working with the mentally ill population. Minimum qualifications include a high school education, a demonstrated interest in the field, and a valid driver’s license with a driving record that is deemed insurable by the organization’s automobile liability insurance carrier.
