SPARE HANDS CLEANING, LLC, an established residential & commercial housekeeping service in California, MD (since 2000), is hiring housekeepers/cleaners to work a full or part time schedule. Position is M-F, day shift. SHC provides service in St. Mary’s, lower to mid Calvert, and Southern Charles counties. Most customers are located in St. Mary’s & Calvert. This position has a pay scale of $13.00- $15.00 per hour, based upon experience, plus customer tips, employee incentives, and the possibility of a raise within the first 6 months-one year of employment. No evenings, weekends, or major holidays worked unless available & requested by the employee. Professional housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.  

SHC is looking for employees who want a long-term job position. Must have a flexible schedule with no other activities/jobs, and/or commitments that would interfere with the job position at SHC. Must have a good work history & good driving record. Must have no restrictions or limitations that would prohibit you from performing the job duties required, such as, but not limited to standing, squatting, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing stairs, lifting lightweight equipment, etc. Must be able to work around dust & family pets. The ideal candidate for this position must possess a valid Driver's License, valid vehicle ins, and have your own dependable vehicle. (Employees Cannot be dependent on others for transportation). Must be 18 years of age or older, (No exceptions). Must pass a criminal background check & drug test. Must be able to follow a simple task list & work alone the majority of the time. This Housekeeping position can be an intense labor job at times, so applicants must be aware that this is not light detailed work every day. Some jobs are easier than others. Must have very good work ethics, and not be a stranger to hard work & dedication!

SHC provides weekly pay, paid training, paid travel time (from one job to the next), paid PTO (paid time off) for FT employees to use towards paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays, & paid personal days. SHC also provides referral bonuses, employee of the month bonuses, products, supplies, equipment, uniforms, raises & other incentives. SHC does not offer health insurance.
