Job Description:
BIM Works is primarily a single family residential design firm that also provides general drafting and modeling services for architects, engineers, and builders.
We are seeking an entry level architectural BIM designer (drafter) to join our team at BIM Works. We are willing to train the right candidate that demonstrates aptitude and dedication.
All candidates applying for the position should be willing to take a quick aptitude test that assesses your ability to think in 3D.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

Construction experience

Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, ArchiCAD and/or Chief Architect

Familiarity with drafting principles and conventions (i.e. scale, projections, line weights, geometric construction, etc).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Field Measure and model existing buildings
-
Create model views and construction documents
-
Create, organize, and annotate plan sets, floor plans, elevations, sections, 3D renderings, finishes, and construction details.

Update models and layouts as directed
