OFFICE MANAGER/TRAFFIC COORDINATOR: We have a full-time position opening for a Office Manager/ Traffic Coordinator for a radio station group in Southern Maryland.
This position is In-Person, Monday-Friday, 9a-5p. Training will be provided for Broadcast Software.

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED: 1-2 years Radio Traffic / Broadcast Company experience. Experience with Marketron Traffic Software and LRN automation software.

REQUIRED: • Associate or Bachelor's Degree; work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree • Experience with accounting/bookkeeping, i.e. Quikbooks. • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role • Minimum of 3 years working in a professional office environment • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • A clean criminal history, and willing to undergo a basic background check. • A minimum of three professional references who can be contacted.


The position of Office Manager will encompass the overseeing of all administrative responsibilities regarding the business office for SOMAR Communications. This position will report to the company President, managers, and will play an integral part in the successful operations of the office. This will include handling bookkeeping, emails, answering phones, assistance as needed from either the production team, or the sales team, and other administrative tasks. General office and reception duties • Responsible for Bookkeeping, invoicing, AP/AR • Oversee and manage day-to-day office operations • Greet office visitors, answer and direct phone calls, and field inquiries in company email • Handle payroll and maintain employee records • Responsible for onboarding requirements for new staff • Maintain Employee Manual and Assist staff with human resources related questions • Maintain Professional Licensing renewals • Provide corporate reporting as needed. • Work with staff to maintain the professional appearance of the office • Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory • Manage office budget and expenses • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for a group of radio stations, crafting and maintaining program templates and scheduling for accurate reporting of inventory for sales and for on-air playback! Chosen candidate will oversee traffic coordination, advertising scheduling, billing and general administrative functions Traffic Coordinator Job Responsibilities • Schedule all program/advertising spots and changes for all stations using Marketron Visual Traffic; Review network schedule and formats for revisions needed to daily log. • Creation of shared format templates for all programming using set guidelines for break structure, spot placement, and promotional placement to ensure quality of on-air look and commercial inventory maximization. • Coordinate and assist with the resolution of any future “displaced” spots that require program conflicts or format/schedule changes. • Accounts Receivable and billing!
