Pawsitive Passage is currently seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Pet Cremation Technician.
Yes, you will be cremating pets of all kinds. We are looking for someone who is empathetic, respectful and excels in customer service. We need someone that can talk to customers professionally, politely, empathetically and have a gentle approach. This position is physically demanding and does requiring heavy lifting and using a ladder to maintain and troubleshoot our Cremation machine when needed

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Answer incoming calls and promptly respond to customer inquiries
• Meet and assist pet families
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation
• Collect and process payments
• Perform and complete pet cremations in a timely manner
• Order pet urns and nameplates
• Safely operate a company vehicle to pick up pets from local veterinary offices and homes and transfer pet back to our facility
• Following cremation completion promptly return pet ashes back to veterinarian offices and call families
• Clean crematory after each cremation
• Clean inside/out and fuel vehicle as needed
• Clean work area daily

Required:

• Reliable and punctual
• Must have a Valid driver’s license and a CLEAN driving record
• Clean Record (YES, we do check your records)
• Be able to lift 50lbs safely and gently
• Strong attention to detail
• Organized and neat
• Knowledge with computers
• Be able to multitask
• Dress professionally
• Excellent interpersonal Skills

Must be atleast 21 years of age

This position is starting off as part time at 3-4 days but must be available for full time Monday - Friday when needed

Hours are 8:30am - 4:00pm and are non-negotiable.
