St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the position of Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Business and Finance/Chief Financial Officer (VP/CFO). The Executive Assistant plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the office by providing support to the VP/CFO, and other offices under the supervision of the VP/CFO, coordinating projects, maintaining and being familiar with state rules and regulations.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least six years of related experience is required. Responsible for preparing and administering budgets. Candidate should have significant working experience with upper-level management and providing executive level support and possess working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Drive, and virtual meeting software. Candidates should be proficient at relationship building, able to manage multiple priorities, and have strong interpersonal skills. Dependability, flexibility, and the ability to organize effectively with strong attention to detail is a must. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check. Salary range is $70k-$88k, depending on qualifications and experience.
