Immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Lead Mechanic for Replacement and Retrofit Installations.
FUNCTION
Operate, maintain, install and perform repairs on mechanical equipment and controls, heat exchangers, controls, refrigeration and various other mechanical systems in such manner as to ensure optimal customer relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responds in a professional, polite and helpful manner when dealing with customers.
• Assumes responsibility for the safe maintenance, operation and adjustments of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Works effectively and lead crew members.
• Thoroughly and accurately completes paperwork and prepares reports.
• Assists in emergencies as needed
• Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly and safe condition.
• Learns, understands and complies with fire, safety and other emergency practices. Informs supervisor of any condition observed to be unsafe.
• Learns, understands and complies with all Company and customer policies.
• Participates in training directed at increasing job-related skills.
• Assists in training of other employees as assigned by Management.
• Works overtime as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
• Apprentice, Journeymen is a plus
• CFC Certified
• Outstanding driving record
• Strong experience with residential/commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
• Knowledge of the equipment, tools and materials used.
• HVAC experience a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to act as a lead technician.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, some overtime as needed.
