We are currently looking to fill the position of Grounds/Maintenance Manager.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and health of outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, and other landscaped spaces as well as building maintenance for multiple properties in Calvert County, MD. 

Specific duties:

• Lawn Care – mowing, edging, fertilizing and watering
• Landscape Maintenance – planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants; weeding, mulching and pruning
• Pest and Disease Control – applying pesticides, herbicides, and other treatments to plants and soil
• Debris Removal – clearing leaves, branches and other waste from the grounds
• Snow and Ice Removal – clearing snow and ice from walkways, parking lots and other areas during winter months
• Equipment Maintenance – maintaining and repairing landscaping equipment like mowers and trimmers
• Hardscaping – installing and maintaining features like walkways, retaining walls and other permanent structures
• Building Maintenance – performing routine or preventative maintenance and troubleshooting and repairing minor mechanical issues
• General Upkeep – sweeping walkways, emptying trash and performing minor repairs

Requirements:

• Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Maintain a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Full-Time, Salary commensurate with experience.
