The Results
Once hired, you’ll be part of a team with the following perks:
- Flexible Schedule: You can set your own schedule as long as you are in the office the hours you provide, for scheduling purposes.
- Pay Structure:
- Base Pay: $20 per hour for time spent working.
- Commission: Starts at 20% and increases each year.
- Payment Options: You can either receive the difference between your base salary and commission at the end of the tax year or wait for a larger check after the season.
- Certification: After completing the course, you'll be eligible to take the state exam to become a licensed tax preparer.
