St. Mary's College of Maryland is accepting résumés for the one-year full-time temporary contingent position of Data Management Specialist reporting to the Registrar. This role is responsible for providing focused data review and analytical support to the Registrar's Office as part of ongoing work to transition to a new student information system. In addition, the Data Management Specialist will assist the Registrar and other colleagues in the office in reviewing and reporting academic data, and managing data clean-up in the Anthology system. They may also assist with the training and support of academic users in the management of SIS data.

 

This one-year full-time temporary contingent position has an annual salary range of $46,500-49,000, depending on qualifications and experience, and may be eligible for limited benefits. It is an on-site full-time position, with a projected maximum of 40 hours per week. This new position offers support to the Registrar's Office as part of our ongoing transition to a new campus information system.

 

Qualifications: Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. A year of administrative experience in data review and management in higher education is required, with two (2) to four (4) years administrative experience in a Registrar's office preferred. Comprehensive experience and strong facility with data management system, Excel, and computerized student information systems required, with particular preference given to a candidate with knowledge of Anthology. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
