Maryland Environmental Service (MES) has an opening for a Landfill Operations Manager within the Environmental Operations Group. This position is responsible for the overall management and coordination of day-to-day operations at MES’s two Subtitle D landfills, Midshore I and Midshore II, as well as two co-located homeowner drop-off facilities.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, plus six years of solid waste landfill management experience.

Valid SWANA MOLO (Manager of Landfill Operations) certification.

Valid driver’s license with fewer than five points.
Applicants may substitute additional experience as defined above on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education.
Desired Pay Range
$80,901.39 – $111,239.22
