OVERVIEW:
The Burch Oil Company is a regional leader in the distribution of petroleum products and propane. The Company markets its products through Burch Oil, Burch Oil of Charles County and Burch Propane. The Company sells and distributes these products to residential and commercial customers throughout southern Maryland and parts of Virginia.
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
This position performs installation, maintenance and service tasks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment for commercial and residential customers.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnoses and repairs electronic, mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems
Travels to job site as assigned while working with the Dispatcher to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers
Properly completes Work Order information using Tough Pad
Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays on a rotating schedule when requested
Properly maintains company vehicles in good working order including completing routine schedule maintenance, refueling, and washing as needed
