Hash Construction is looking for a Commercial Electrical Estimator.

• This role is critical to the company’s success and requires strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and pricing strategies
• The ideal candidate brings extensive field experience along with proven estimating expertise to support project bidding and execution
• Minimum 10 years of experience working in the electrical trades Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, and construction practices Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schedules Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and takeoff tools Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills Ability to work independently and meet bid deadlines Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license Experience estimating commercial or industrial electrical projects Familiarity with project management and cost-control processes

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents Perform quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment Solicit, review, and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing Develop complete bid proposals including labor hours, material costs, overhead, and profit Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and leadership during preconstruction Maintain accurate estimating records and bid documentation Assist with change order pricing and job cost analysis as needed Ensure estimates align with company standards and current market conditions
