St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting resumes for the full-time 10-month position of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in our campus Wellness Center. This is a full-time exempt 10-month position with benefits, August 1 through May 31.
St. Mary’s College Wellness Center provides holistic health, mental health, and advocacy services to students on campus. The duties and responsibilities for the CNA position include providing direct care and health education to students of the college under the supervision of a registered nurse. The CNA will utilize electronic records, collect specimens, respond to emergencies, and provide clinical support for health care provider visits.
Qualifications: Must possess a current license in the State of Maryland as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Excellent phlebotomy skills required. Must communicate well in English, both orally and in writing. Must hold a valid Basic Life Support card. One year of clinical experience is required and more experience is desirable. Will be subject to random drug testing. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check. The salary range is $37,000-$41,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
