SENIOR CYBERSECURITY/PC SUPPORT TECNICIAN
Large Organization located in Camp Springs, MD has an opening for a Cybersecurity/PC Support Senior Technician. The salary range for this position starts at $60k – $95k and varies based on relevant education and work experience. We offer a full benefits package, including great health insurance. Desired skills/experience in:
· Bachelor’s Degree in a computer related field.
· Cybersecurity certification(s) preferred (e.g. CISSP, CISM)
· Windows client and server operating systems.
· Monitoring and analyzing network traffic, security alerts, and identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities
· Oversee research, design, development, maintenance and implementation of cyber security systems.
· Maintain a relationship with internal and third party DSG security resources.
· Lead incident response activities, including threat detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
· Provide on-call support for after hours security related events.
· Provide vulnerability assessment and remediation program.
· Investigating and root cause analysis of security events & incidents.
· Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.
· Assist in responding to security incidents, help mitigate risks and restoring systems back to normal.
· Threat Assessment, understanding threat levels and vulnerabilities and reporting on these factors to senior team members
· Create and maintain accurate records of security incidents and responses, other technical documentation
· Getting familiar with common cyber security tools and solutions, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
· Azure/Microsoft 365 administration and applications support
· Computer and Printer hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
· Network Administration, troubleshooting and configuration.
· VEEAM backup a plus
· VMware administration and troubleshooting a plus
