Large organization located in Piney Point, Maryland has an immediate opening for a Data Analyst. Necessary skills include: basic to moderate computer knowledge, including MS Word & Excel; data entry and clerical skills; filing experience; excellent telephone manners; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently; flexibility to work different shifts; knowledge of or ability to learn & effectively utilize the SMIS computer system; general geographical knowledge/ability; knowledge of or ability to learn the shipping industry, include terminology, deciphering mariners’ documents, the Shipping Rules and the application of such.
Compensation is $17/hour. Base rate could be increased with a post high school degree related to the job.
