Candidate will be responsible for maintaining outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, and other landscaped spaces as well as building maintenance for properties as directed.
Specific duties:
- Lawn Care – mowing, edging, fertilizing and watering
- Landscape Maintenance – planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants; weeding, mulching and pruning
- Pest and Disease Control – applying pesticides, herbicides, and other treatments to plants and soil
- Debris Removal – clearing leaves, branches and other waste from the grounds
- Snow and Ice Removal – clearing snow and ice from walkways, parking lots and other areas during winter months
- Equipment Maintenance – maintaining and repairing landscaping equipment like mowers and trimmers
- Building Maintenance – performing routine or preventative maintenance and troubleshooting and repairing minor mechanical issues
- General Upkeep – sweeping walkways, emptying trash and performing minor repairs
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50lbs+.
Full-Time, Salary commensurate with experience.
