St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission (MetCom) is seeking applicants for a Utilities Mechanic - Water.
This position performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all equipment associated with the water stations and distribution systems. Operates and documents the performance of the water treatment and distributions systems throughout St. Mary’s County. Ensures public safety and compliance with regulations.Training and/or Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and two or more years of job-related experience
Experience:
Or equivalent technical training, education, and/or experience in water treatment and distribution field
Licenses or Certificates:
1.Class 2 Water Treatment and MDE Water Sampler Certification
2.Must possess a valid Maryland driver’s license, Class C
3.Temporary Traffic Control Manager Certification desired
