Human Resources Manager
Location: Camp Springs, MD / Washington, DC area
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support our company’s growth and success. If you’re a strategic thinker with hands on experience in daily HR tasks, we want to hear from you.
Duties include:
- Develop and implement HR policies
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including performance management, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws.
- Ensure that HR records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs (LMS)
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred) and/or
- 5+ years of experience in HR (required)
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with UKG (preferred)
- PHR or SPHR, SHRM-SCP certification (Required)
- LMS experience (required)
- Full time, on site.
- Pay: 70-80k per year, commensurate with experience
