Reyco bids a steady volume of commercial and federal work across the DC metro. We need an Estimator who can own a bid from drawing review through proposal delivery — not someone who hands off at takeoff. You'll work directly with the Chief Estimator and ownership, and your number is the number we go to market with. Over time, you'll also be a face of Reyco with general contractors — building the relationships that generate the next opportunity.

Identify new bid opportunities working with the estimating team
-
Perform takeoffs from drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents

Develop labor hours and apply Reyco production rates
-
Identify scope gaps and submit RFIs and clarifications during the bid process
-
Prepare detailed, well-documented proposals for client submission; ensure all proposals are submitted by the designated due date and time
-
Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks as required
-
Establish and maintain relationships with general contractors before and after proposal submission
-
Hand off awarded projects to operations with a clean budget, vendor matrix, and scope summary
-
Track bid results and post-job variance to support pricing accuracy on future work
-
Communicate with the Bid Coordinator to keep all documents and systems current
-
Participate in all scheduled estimating meetings
