Coyotes are moving into the area and becoming more common - are your livestock safe?

Livestock Guardian Dogs (LGDs) have been specifically bred for generations to bond with livestock and provide wildlife-friendly predator protection.  They live safely with their charges 24/7/365, and for the price of normal dog care, they keep predators at bay.

Please note - they do BARK.  Sometimes, a LOT.  That's their first line of defense.  If you have a really close neighbor...not for you.  But if you have goats, sheep, cattle, chickens, etc, and are serious about wanting to protect them when you're not able to be with them, shotgun handy - consider an LGD.

I have two available, both have been with goats their entire lives.  They have some chicken exposure.  Their experience, thus far, has been invaluable in preparing them to move onto new homes and herds.

Grace - 18mo Karakachan/great Pyrenees female, intact.  UTD on all vax, microchipped.  $600
Sawyer - 18mo Anatolian/great Pyrenees male, intact.  UTD on all vax, microchipped.  $600

I am also planning to breed pure Anatolians, beginning in late 2018/early 2019.  Keep me in mind if you'll be looking for an LGD in the future.  I'm also available for consulting on LGD selection and training.  Also, please feel free to visit Slackwater Farm on FB for regular updates on available livestock.
