I have a 4.5 year old Juliana Mix Pig. He's about 100lbs. He's friendly, healthy and happy. He's also neutered. He's good natured, and lives with a dog, cat and a few hens. He does have tusks, but they are not quite protruding yet and could be trimmed by a professional. His hooves are in good shape and he doesn't mind them being trimmed. He is an indoor/outdoor pig, and is trained to use a large doggy door to go in & out as he pleases.
Honestly, the only reason I'd rehome him is because he simply doesn't travel well... and I like to camp and travel on the weekends. I obtained him when he was a year old, and my lifestyle was different. I think he'd enjoy some company more during the day, and could learn a few tricks, I'm sure. I'll help you all I can.
I am in no rush to find him a new home, and will be choosy about where he goes. He is a PET, so spare me the bacon comments, as I've heard them all before. Don't even contact me if you've not done your research and I strongly suggest becoming a member of the "Mini Pig Education" Group on Facebook. He might do okay with another pig, but those introductions can be downright bloody until a heirarchy is established.
If a better home doesn't come along, he'll be fine living with me forever, but I feel there is a better home out there for him, where he'll not be so lonely. If you have a nice shed, barn, basement space or something of the sort that is enclosed, and would like the fun of hosting a mini-pig, send me a message, and we'll talk more. I'm in St. Mary's County.
I should have a video of him on YouTube soon. In the meantime, if you'd like pictures, please contact me.
