Parker is a Juliana Mix mini pig. He is 5 years old, neutered, healthy and happy.... but lonely. I'm in no hurry, and will only let him go to a pig educated home. There is a great resource group on Facebook, called "Mini Pig Education." He is black with a white ring around his neck. He has a long coat in the winter, but loses it all in the warmer months. He's trim, long and lean, favoring more the Juliana genetics than the pot-belly. He's about 110lbs and will probably not grow much more if fed properly. Currently, as depicted in the video, he has indoor/outdoor access. He lives with a dog an cat but they don't pay him much attention. He likes the comforts of home, but also likes the yard and sunshine - not so much on snowy or rainy days. He'd be fine in an outdoor setting as long as it was kept clean, sheltered and warm. I would prefer he go to a home with another pig. It takes patience to introduce pigs to each other, and establishing a heirarchy can be violent initially. I'm willing to work with potential adopters all I can in preparing, transporting, and supporting. I'm even open to a trial period. He's a great pig - friendly and well socialized. My lifestyle has changed, and I have more opportunties to travel. I ensure he is properly cared for when I am gone, but feel he would be much happier in a pig centric home with at least one other pig. I'm dedicated to him and will care for him indefinately until a better home offers him more than what I can give him. His fee is negotiable - donating to a rescue on his behalf is preferred.
