My name is Holly. I live in Indian Head, Maryland and I will soon be homeless after May 7, 2026.. I do not have a stable income at the moment, money, a car, access to resources, or know anyone who can help. According to Lifestyles, all the local shelters are full and have a waiting list. Charles and Calvert Countys section 8 vouchers waiting list are closed as well.
I am hoping to stay in the area so I can be close to my pets and continue to care for them as much as I am "permitted." I was reaching out to see if anyone would be interested? I believe that my CPTSD is a condition that would benefit from the mental exercise that comes along with work routines and activities. In a healthy, supportive environment. I do not smoke, do drugs, barely drink alcohol now and never abused it before, and have a good background/ good driving record.
I have been vaccinated against COVID, MMR, flu shot once in a while but I wont mind getting another one if covered by a program or health insurance). I pass fingerprinting tests. I honestly dont mind helping out around the house and providing companionship/ear to listen to in exchange for room and board while I rebuild my life.
