This corner room has a big, comfortable bed, a walk-in closet, lots of windows, a smart tv with all cable channels ready for your netflix account and a private bathroom with a new shower. Washer and dryer are available for your use, as is the kitchen with all utensils, half a refrigerator, and cupboards for your foods. I emphasize safety and have a Ring system, an emergency generator, a carbon monoxide detector, many smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers. Your bedroom door is lockable.
The house is on an extremely quiet street, near to the center of La Plata, but with a country feeling. Parking is in a designated parking space. There are no sidewalks, and VanGo does not stop nearby, so you must have a car. The only exception would be if you are disabled and depend on Paratransit. However, there are many stairs and the bathroom will not fit a wheelchair. The house is on two acres, with an inground pool. There is an organic garden in which I grow tomatoes and melons. There are a small weight machine, a treadmill, and an elliptical. There are three very friendly dogs in the house, one other roommate upstairs, and another in a basement apartment. We are very nice, considerate people. Unfortunately, there is no storage here and the room is already completely furnished, so there is no place for any furniture.
The room will be available on June 7. The rent is $650/month, with a $100 returnable damage deposit. This is a month-to-month lease, which can be cancelled by the landlord or the renter with one month's notice
